From Start-up to Success

Casa de Campo Alpaca Ranch is the dream come true for alpaca ranchers, Bob and Laurie Osterling. Located in northern most Texas Hill Country, Casa de Campo sits upon a hill top with shade trees, quality pastures of coastal Bermuda hay, continuous gentle breezes, and magnificent views.

Casa de Campo Alpaca Ranch is not a large herd operation, nor will it ever be. Rather than growing into an operation that measures success by the size of the herd, the Casa de Campo measure of success is:

- developing show quality, yet affordable huacaya alpaca that are
interacted with (maybe spoiled) daily,
- supporting and assisting our clients with the development of their own
alpaca venture from start to finish,
-providing educational programs to those interested in alpacas,
- working at the local, state, and national levels to promote alpaca ranching as a way of life.
